Freedom Garden Products was founded to commercialize products from a new patented technology developed over the past decade. Our first product, Free2BGreen Garden Panels has been successfully sold on QVC and HSN. We are currently working with several universities and research facilities to realize the benefits of our patented technology. These institutes included are: ASU, Texas A&M, CIT-Fresno, and Cal-Poly Pomona.
Our company is also in the process of working with several cities to assist with the major issues of water shortage, global warming and green building. These cities include: Phoenix, AZ; San Diego, Los Angeles, Santa Monica, CA; Austin, TX and Las Vegas, NV.
Our company's mission is to expand the boundaries of gardening to all by offering innovative, efficient products that address current and future water and environmental issues.
Freedom Garden Products was founded by Joe Byles, our CEO/President. Joe graduated from the University of Texas-Austin with an aerospace degree in 1987. With gardening as his passion, he transferred his aerospace engineering skills to the field of gardening in 1993. Joe has worked extensively with major corporations in the landscape and irrigation industries to help develop new technologies that will improve water conservation, environmental concerns, labor and cost. He is credited with thirteen patents in various fields and has received awards and national recognition for his inventions on television (QVC, HSN ,American Inventor and Made in the USA), trade magazines ( Landscape Contractor and DesignNews) and various newspapers.
